通过多年研究,取得比较成熟的桉树枝条扦插繁殖技术—即大棚内套小棚降温保温扦插繁殖技术。已扦插繁殖14个优良树种,42个无性系。14个优良桉树种:①尾叶桉E.urophylla②细叶桉E.tereticornis③刚果12号桉E.12ABL④巨尾桉E.grandis×E.urophylla,⑤尾巨桉E.urophylla×E.grandis,⑥杂交桉TH9117 E.urophylla×Camaldulensis⑦杂交桉TH9224E.urophylla×E.camaldulensis⑧杂交桉TH9211E.urophylla×E.tereticornis⑨杂交桉TH9113E.urophylla×E.tereticornis⑩斑皮桉E.maculata(11)雷林33E.leichow No33(12)柠檬桉E.citriodora(13)窿缘桉E.exserta(14)赤桉E.camaldulensis。刚果12号桉扦插生根率90%—96%,成苗率达88%—94%尾叶桉生根率在83%—90%,成苗率达81%—87%,除了窿缘桉,柠檬桉难于生根外,其他10种桉树生根率在73%—91%。采用舒根型黑色园型塑料管容器,轻型混合扦插基质椰糠+谷壳+黄心土、采穗圃枝条幼化处理后25~28天萌枝,控制小棚内相对湿度95%以上,对提高桉树枝条扦插生根率,形成良好平衡根系、促进根系,苗木生长具有重要作用。建立了桉树优树无性系对比试验林,从中初选一批适合海南生长的高产优良无性系刚果12号桉热研B号、尾叶桉9101、9401、细叶桉TH01、TR01、赤桉CP02、斑皮桉、杂交桉TH9113、杂交桉TH9224等。
