In April 2001, I was invited to visit the Khabarovsk Museum of Geography, where I found a large number of precious historical photographs involving the northeast during World War II, with more than 2,000 pieces in total. These photos were taken by Colonel Nikolayevich, a former Soviet Army Red Army war correspondent, in various parts of the Northeast China. The content is vast and alarming in number. At the author’s request, Khabarovsk Museum of Geography sent hundreds of photos to the Heilongjiang Provincial Revolutionary Museum and Northeast Martyrs Memorial Hall, of which 10 were filmed by Japanese. Dozens of photographs by the Tass Society and other unknown Soviet Union Reporter shooting.
