在低压下具有极佳亮度的真空荧光显示自1967年问世以来,其功能和特性已得到显著改善.目前以这种低功耗、长寿命真空荧光管制作的高亮度,高分辨率多色薄型显示器件已经实用化.图1所示的是一种普通真空荧光显示管的结构.其工艺流程如下:在钠钙玻璃基板上依次涂敷导电层、绝缘层和阳极层制成阳极基板.膜层制作方法通常为几次丝网印刷加烘烤处理.然后在阳极基板上用同样方法或者用电泳法制备荧光粉层.再把栅极、直热式阴极及其它金属零件固定在阳极基板上进行面板玻璃封接,最后排气及封离排气管.
