美国康奈尔大学高家龙教授在《大公司与关系网》一书中,通过对美孚石油公司、英美烟公司、三井物产株式会社、内外棉株式会社、申新纱厂、大中华火柴公司等6家大企业在中国的成功故事的讲述,探讨了大企业的“管理层级结构”与中国社会的“关系网”之间复杂的动态互动关系。本文简要分析此书的内容和特点,并略述笔者对层级管理结构与社会关系网的认识。
Prof. Gao Jialong from Cornell University in the United States published a book titled “The Big Companies and the Relationships Network”, through the discussion on the relations between Mobil Oil Company, British American Tobacco Company, Mitsui & Co., Inside and Outside Cotton Co., Ltd., Shin Shin Mill, Greater China Match Company 6 The story of success stories of large enterprises in China explores the complex dynamic interaction between the “management hierarchy” of large enterprises and the “network of relationships” in Chinese society. This article briefly analyzes the content and features of the book, and outlines the author’s understanding of the hierarchical management structure and social network.
