在使用中损坏的焊缝,可用电镀镍的新工艺在工地现场进行修复。该项由美国宇航局马歇尔宇宙飞行中心所资助研究成功的新技术,曾在铬镍铁合金718(一种镍基超级合金)管子上做了公开的演示。在垂直构件的每侧,各有一个直径为1(1/2)英寸的管子环形焊缝,两个环形焊缝是同时进行修复的。整个工艺可分为下列五个步骤。 1.焊接点处理先把焊接点磨平,在距焊接点四周1英寸处用涂层装置的绝缘布复盖,然后在接点处用聚丙烯塑料筑成一个深6英寸、宽2英寸、长12英寸的电解槽以容纳电解液,并利用电解槽中的溢流坝维持电解液的水位。
In the use of damaged weld, nickel plating can be used in the new process of site repair. The new technology, funded by the NASA Marshall Space Flight Center, has been demonstrated publicly on Inconel 718, a nickel-base superalloy.
