在整个出版业从以规模数量增长为主要特征的阶段向以优质高效为主要特征的阶段转移过程中,众多的地方出版社要规划出“适应社会主义市场经济体制和精神文明建设需要,符合出版规律”的选题计划,树立出版社个性形象,是极为重要的成败关键。我个人体会,有一条途径比较便于达到这个目标,那就是:在地方出版社总的选题盘子中,“小而精”的丛书、套书应占百分之六七十的比例:只有紧紧抓住“小而精”三字,才能有把握地树立品牌,实现双效,在市场开发和发展中获胜。
