双语教学是工科院校学生国际竞争能力培养的重要教学手段之一。本文分析了我校地质工程专业“地球物理勘探概论”双语教学现状及存在问题,探索了将常规教学方法与基于团队学习(TBL)教学方法相结合进行课程双语教学的途径。作者认为,常规方法与TBL教学法的结合可以解决课时与教学内容、专业学习与专业英语学习之间的矛盾,并使得学生在有限的时间内,既能全面学习地球物理相关专业知识,又能掌握相关的英文专业词汇及相关领域的国外研究进展,进而激发学生的学习兴趣,提高学生未来参与国际竞争的能力。
Bilingual teaching is one of the important teaching methods for cultivating students’ international competitiveness in engineering colleges. This paper analyzes the present situation and existing problems of Bilingual Teaching in Geological Engineering Specialty of Geophysical Prospectus in our university and explores the ways of combining bilingual teaching with conventional teaching methods based on TBL teaching method. The author believes that the combination of conventional methods and TBL pedagogy can solve the contradiction between class time and teaching content, professional learning and professional English learning, and enable students to fully learn geophysical related expertise in a limited time, Master the relevant English terminology and related research fields in foreign countries, so as to stimulate students’ interest in learning and enhance their ability to participate in international competition in the future.
