番茄白粉病是一种世界性病害。1900年Salmon首先在意大利发现番茄白粉病,将其病原菌鉴定为蓼白粉菌(Erysiphe polygoni DC.)。1919年日本泽田兼吉首先报道我国台湾省番茄上的白粉病菌为蓼白粉菌(E.polygoni DC.)。
Tomato powdery mildew is a worldwide disease. In 1900, Salmon first discovered powdery mildew in tomato in Italy and identified its pathogen as Erysiphe polygoni DC. In 1919, Sawada Sawando first reported that the powdery mildew pathogen in tomato in Taiwan Province of China was E. polygoni DC.
