由甘肃省滑坡、泥石流研究会(筹)和全国公路地质情报网联合筹办的泥石流学术讨论会,于1984年10月26—31日在甘肃省天水市举行。参加这次会议的代表,是来自全国22个省、市、自治区的公路、铁路、科研单位、高等院校、水保、水利、林业、城市规划、矿山、甘肃省退休工作者协会和省、地、县的领导以及四川省泥石流专业委员会等12个系统近100个单位的120多位专家、学者和实际工作人员。
The Debris Flow Symposium, jointly organized by the Gansu Provincial Landslide and Debris Flow Research Institute and the National Highway Geological Information Network, was held on October 26-31, 1984 in Tianshui, Gansu Province. Representatives from all 22 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions in China participated in the meeting on behalf of highways, railways, scientific research institutes, institutions of higher learning, water and soil conservation, water conservancy, forestry, urban planning, mining, the Association of Retired Workers of Gansu Province, Prefectural and county leaders, as well as more than 120 experts, scholars and practical staff from nearly 100 units of 12 systems including the Sichuan Provincial Debris Flow Commission.
