超短波治疗适用于急慢性炎症。常用于乳腺炎、盆腔炎、鼻窦炎、肺炎等疾病的治疗。我们在治疗肺炎当中,遇到不良反应引起痉挛性咳嗽1例,为引起理疗工作者的注意,现报告如下: 患儿,男,3岁,平素体健,因发烧咳嗽,右肺罗音,血象偏高,胸透(右肺)点片状阴影诊断肺炎,给予超短波治疗(机器是上海公私合营宇宙理化器械厂产,波长7.3m;电极胸部前后对置放置,剂量80mA),在超短波治疗到15分钟时,患儿烦燥不安,突然出现持续性痉挛性咳嗽、口唇发绀、呼吸困难,当即停止治疗,鼻饲给氧,口服氨茶硷50mg,强的松5mg,紧急处理。
