日本的东京证券交易所创立于1878年5月,它的前身叫东京股票交易所,直到71年之后的1949年4月才更名为东京证券交易所,至今已经历了115年的发展过程。1988年5月,交易所的正会员达到22家证券公司,其中外国证券公司16家。东京证券交易所配置有当代最先进的电脑系统,为国内外的证券投资者提供了现代化的交易场所。它不仅在日本的8大证券交易所中首屈一指,无论是规模,还是交易量都遥遥领先,而且在全世界的40多家主要证券交易
Japan’s Tokyo Stock Exchange was founded in May 1878. Its predecessor, the Tokyo Stock Exchange, changed its name to the Tokyo Stock Exchange in April 1949 only 71 years later. It has gone through 115 years of development. May 1988, the Exchange’s positive members reached 22 securities companies, including 16 foreign securities companies. The Tokyo Stock Exchange is equipped with state-of-the-art computer systems that provide a modern trading venue for domestic and foreign securities investors. Not only is it second to none in Japan’s top eight stock exchanges, both in size and volume, but also in more than 40 major stock exchanges around the world
