土城子城址位于河北省隆化县隆化镇下洼子村,面积41万平方米,是北魏、辽、金、元时期州城,文化遗存十分丰富。此次发掘面积为110平方米。揭露房址、灰坑、窖藏多处,出土瓷器、骨器、陶器、铁器等文物30余件。其中的白瓷男性生殖器、骨柄植毛刷、大型文字缸等殊为珍贵。城址内发现的大量红烧土说明这里在辽代晚期曾有大的战事,引发火灾,使该城毁于一旦。
