社会主义民主政治是社会主义的本质要求。要坚持中国特色社会主义政治发展道路,必须以扩大党内民主带动人民民主,这是社会主义民主政治建设的关键。新的历史时期,实现以党内民主推动人民民主的发展,关键要抓好:增强民主意识,尊重和保障党员民主权利;改革和完善党内选举制度和党内监督制度;完善党内民主决策机制;完善党的代表大会制度,推行党代会常任制;探索扩大党内基层民主多种实现形式。
Socialist democratic politics is the essential requirement of socialism. In order to adhere to the political development of socialism with Chinese characteristics, we must expand people’s democracy within the party and drive people’s democracy. This is the key to the construction of socialist democratic politics. In the new historical period, the key to realizing the development of people’s democracy under the guidance of inner-party democracy is to lay stress on strengthening democracy awareness, respecting and safeguarding the democratic rights of party members, reforming and perfecting the inner-party election system and the inner-party supervision system, and improving inner-party democratic decision-making Mechanism; improve the party’s congress system, the implementation of the permanent representative party system; explore ways to expand the variety of forms of grassroots democracy within the party.
