河北省农林科学院蔬菜花卉所是省级专业研究所。全所职工109人,其中高中级技术人员52人,技术力量雄厚。所内设有叶菜类、茄果类、瓜类、品种资源、设施栽培、加工贮藏、花卉、生物技术等八个研究室及科技开发服务中心、试验示范场(100亩)等,所外建有良繁基地。近几年有26项获奖成果,其中,国家级2项,省、部级12项,最新成果“冀芸二号”(83—3地豆),获省科技进步二等奖。多倍体大白菜和甜椒不育系研究达到了国际先进水平。先后育成了瓜菜新品种、优良品系30多个,如:冀菜1、3、5、7号、多育二号、早心白、93—1大白菜(新三
