射线的辐照引起材料发生何种反应,材料的结构如何变化,在材料科学中愈来愈引起了广泛的兴趣。另外,电子显微镜的观察是在电子束照射样品下进行的,这种照射到底会引起材料发生什么反应,也是电镜工作者所关心的。前人用电子显微镜观察了CuO在电子束照射下发生的还原反应。本工作对电子束作用下铜超微粒子发生的变化做了连续的观察,先是观察到了Cu的氧化现象,接着是Cu的氧化物又被还原成了大的Cu颗粒,在这种氧化还原过程中,形成的氧化物除Cu_2O外,还出现了初生的Cu_4O与Cu_8O等中间结构。Cu超微粒子是在喷镀仪中,用真空蒸发法制做的,观察是在JEM-2000EX高分辨电子显微镜上进行的,
