September 10, 1998 is the fourteenth teacher’s day. At the celebration of Zhejiang Teachers’ Day, Zhejiang Provincial People’s Government awarded Lin Peifen, the supervisor of Ningbo Jiangdong Experimental Kindergarten, an honorary teacher. At this moment, thinking of himself growing up from a Shanghai educated youth to a Zhejiang-grade teacher, Lin Peifeng felt both honored and overwhelmed by her pressure and felt a great deal of emotion at the moment. In 30 years, Lin Peifen has gone through a difficult road. In the early spring of 1969, Lin Peifen, 17, who graduated from Shanghai Mingde Middle School shortly before bidding farewell to his parents, left alone in Shanghai and flew to Fei City Commune in the outskirts of Ningbo. “Broad sky refining heart” to go to the border, go to the countryside, was the only way for many urban youth. Lin Peifen stay in the countryside
