近年偏重技能训练的功利型设计教育培养出了一批有着职业技能、但职业操守和责任意识都相当淡薄的设计师。他们在设计活动中见利忘义,最终浪费了资源,破坏了生态以及社会的安定与和谐。经过去糟取精的传统伦理取向不但可以为设计提供诸多借鉴与启示,而且对改善和解决整个社会的环境问题、可持续发展问题、贫富差距问题和社会公平等诸多问题来说都具有积极的意义。
