我国著名女诗人、散文家、优秀翻译家陈敬容同志1917年9月2日出生于四川省乐山市,不幸于1989年11月8日22时40分在北京逝世,享年72岁。陈敬容同志在乐山和成都上学时,她即受到五四新文化、新思想的感染。1935年,她告别了家乡,只身一人到北京求学,并开始在《晨报》、《大公报》等发表诗文。1937年七·七事变后,她回到成都,参加了中华全国文艺界抗敌协会成都分会,并在分会会刊、文学期刊《工作》,《文艺阵地》、《星岛日报》等报刊发表作品。1940年夏天.陈敬容同志转赴西北,四年后才回到重庆。
Famous poet, essayist and excellent translator of our country Comrade Chen Jingrong was born on September 2, 1917 in Leshan, Sichuan Province. Unfortunately, he died at Beijing at 22:40 on November 8, 1989, at the age of 72. When Comrade Chen Jingrong went to school in Leshan and Chengdu, she was infected with the May Fourth new culture and new ideas. In 1935, she bid farewell to his hometown, went to Beijing to study alone, and began to publish poetry and periodicals in Morning News, Ta Kung Pao. After the Sept.7 Incident in 1937, she returned to Chengdu and took part in the Chengdu Branch of the All-China Literary and Art World Anti-Enemy Association. She was also published in newspapers and periodicals such as “Work”, “Literary and Art Field” and “Sing Tao Daily” works. In the summer of 1940, Comrade Chen Jingrong moved to the northwest and returned to Chongqing four years later.
