现代心理学用“智商”来量度一个人的聪明与否,许多家长常常以自己的子女智商高而自豪,而有些家长则因子女测出的智商低而垂头丧气。其实,智商这东西是“应该相信,不可迷信”。 在一般情况下,通过测量智商可以判断一个人的聪明与否。但这不是绝对的,有极少数特殊人才其智商测量下来分数并不高,甚至被列入“笨人”一类。但是,他们在某一方面具有非凡的能力,最终做出了惊人的事业,甚至“名垂青史”。法国大数学家彭加勒就是这样的一位特殊人才。
Modern psychology uses “IQ” to measure a person’s intelligence. Many parents are often very proud of their children’s intelligence, while others are discouraged by their low IQ.
