一百年前发生的甲午战争,曾经使中华民族蒙受了巨大的灾难和耻辱。但是,正如恩格斯在致丹尔逊的信中深刻指出的:“没有哪一次巨大的历史灾难不是以历史的进步为朴偿的。”甲午战争使中国人民进一步觉醒和奋起,成为中国近代历史发展的一个重要转折点。认真总结甲午战争以来的历史经验,以史为鉴,将有助于我们振奋民族精神,以更加昂扬的斗志,建设社会主义现代化的伟大强国。
