放射治疗学虽已有近百年的历史,但比起其它学科还属年轻的专业。直到本世纪中叶,临床放疗还只是一种技艺,不成其为一门科学。但它在不断发展,近20年来,已进入一个全新发展阶段。目前,已经建立了既有坚实的理论基础,又有丰富临床经验的现代放射治疗学,现已改称为放射肿瘤学。1 放射肿瘤学发展简史1895年～1945年,为现代放疗的准备阶段。1895年
Although radiation therapy has a history of nearly one hundred years, it is younger than any other discipline. Until the middle of this century, clinical radiotherapy was only a skill and it was not a science. However, it has continued to develop. In the past 20 years, it has entered a new stage of development.
