Objective To explore the correlation between overweight and obesity, hypertension and hypervolemic hyperlipidemia in middle-aged and young adults by observing body mass index (BMI), blood pressure and serum homocysteine (HCY) level in middle-aged and young people in Lijin County. Methods A total of 750 middle-aged and young adults with physical examination in Lijin County were selected to calculate BMI, blood pressure and serum HCY (using circulating enzyme) levels, and statistical analysis was made according to grouping. Results ①The prevalence of overweight and obesity in middle-aged and young people was 43.20%, of which 31.07% was overweight and 12.13% overweight. The detection rate of overweight and / or obesity in males was significantly higher than that of females (P <0.01). ② The detection rates of hypertension and HCY in 750 middle-aged and young people were 17.07% and 9.73% respectively; those with overweight and obesity were 28.09% (91/324) and 19.75% (64/324) respectively, which were significantly higher than normal (P <0.01). The overweight and obesity groups were significantly higher than the normal group (P <0.01), and the obesity group was significantly higher than the overweight group (P <0.01). The blood pressure (systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure) and serum HCY level had a significant positive correlation with BMI (r = 0.639,0.515,0.497, P <0.01), and the correlation was good. Conclusions Overweight or obesity exists in middle-aged and young adolescents in Lijin County, especially in men and women. Hypertension and hypervolemic hyperlipidemia are associated with BMI. Hypertension and hypervolemic hypervolemia are more common in overweight and obesity patients. Hypertension and high HCY should be actively controlled Blood disorders.
