语言是人们生活当中必不可少的交流方式。文化是一个复杂的社会现象,人们的生活无时不刻在传递着文化,反过来文化也构成生活的各个部分。语言是文化的组成部分,反过来也反映着文化现象。因此,不同文化之间的差异可以通过语言体现出来。以中文和英语为例。中国文化和西方文化之间的差异可以从中文和英语的差异体现出来。本文将从三个典型的文化构成部分讨论其差异,即打招呼,成语和宗教信仰。区分不同文化间的差异可以使跨文化交流顺利进行,特别是对于对于外语学习者来说。
Language is an indispensable means of communication among people’s lives. Culture is a complex social phenomenon, people’s life is constantly passing the culture, and culture in turn constitutes all parts of life. Language is an integral part of culture, which in turn reflects cultural phenomena. Therefore, the differences between different cultures can be reflected in the language. Take Chinese and English for example. The difference between Chinese culture and Western culture can be reflected in the differences between Chinese and English. This article discusses its differences from three typical cultural components: greeting, idioms and religious beliefs. Differentiating between different cultures can make cross-cultural exchanges go smoothly, especially for foreign language learners.
