1975年以来,无底柱分段崩落采矿法切割一次成井新工艺列为符山铁矿攻关重点项目。在矿党委的一元化领导下,成立了内外三结合科研攻关小组,先后进行了12个井的工业性试验,除有2个井因布孔和起爆有误,而成井深度不够外,其余均达到了预期效果。成井深度均达到炮孔控制深度。断面一般为3.6～4.2米~2。掏槽面积一般为0.3～0.4米~2;炮眼数目一般为9～10个。炸药消耗量,掏槽部分为50～60公斤/米~3,全井平均为9～11公斤/米~3。
