在中性粒细胞内HBT反应是过氧化物的阴离子和染料之间发生的化学反应。这种过氧化物是属于一种有毒性氧的衍生物,一般在氧化代谢中产生。HBT定量试验能够用于临床,反映氧化代谢和游离的原子氧的释放。粒细胞HBT还原试验的暂时增加在细菌和病毒感染的急性期早已被发现,如流性感冒。如果HBT还原试验长期升高,可以认为这病人是HTLV—111的慢性感染。检查了5例AIDS病人和6例淋巴腺综合症病人的HBT还原试验。
HBT reaction in neutrophils is a chemical reaction that occurs between the anion of the peroxide and the dye. This peroxide belongs to a toxic oxygen derivative, usually produced in oxidative metabolism. The HBT assay can be used clinically to reflect oxidative metabolism and the release of free atomic oxygen. A temporary increase in the granulocyte-depleted HBT reduction test has long been detected in the acute phase of bacterial and viral infections, such as influenza. If the long-term HBT reduction test is elevated, this patient may be considered a chronic infection of HTLV-111. Five patients with AIDS and six patients with lymphadenopathy were examined for HBT reduction.
