1994年,祁门县科委正式立项、主持实施“优质特早生茶树无性系仙寓早选育研究”工作。6年来,他们在省市科委、县委、县政府及省农科院茶研所科技人员的重视支持下,采用系统选育方法,按照科学育种程序,完成了各项选育任务。选育研究证实:仙寓早春茶萌发期比福鼎大白茶早10天左右,比祁门群体种早15～20天,制茶品质优良,产量较高,是一个优质特早生、红绿茶兼制、抗寒性较强、适应性广的茶树新品种,适宜在江南和江北茶区种植推广 一、特征特性 1.生物学性状 仙寓早植株中等,树姿半直立,分枝密度中等。叶片长椭园型,叶长8.9～11.8厘米,叶宽3.7～5.0厘米,叶尖钝尖下垂有缺刻,叶片较厚,叶面隆起,叶质较柔软,叶脉7～11对,叶色深绿有光
