[Press Release] Deputy Secretary-General of the State Council Ma Kai pointed out at the National Pharmaceutical Regulatory Reform Conference that the CPC Central Committee and the State Council are very concerned about and pay more attention to drug supervision and management work. In 1998, the Central Government established the State Drug Administration under the circumstance of drastically simplifying its structure. In June 2000, the State Council also approved the “Program for the Reform of Drug Supervision and Management System of the State Drug Administration”
