Jia Pingwa’s four novels created after the 1990s showcase the huge historical picture of urbanization at the end of the 20th century. In the process of depicting this process of urbanization, Jia Pingwa’s thought has also undergone a process from paranoid sentiment to calmness, from confusion to reflection and sighing.
