先从校对学编辑——同青年新闻工作者谈心

去年《新闻战线》第七期上,登了一篇短文,讲的是从事新闻工作最好从校对做起,并认为可以把这做为一条制度坚持下来。文章引用了作家秦牧的《总编辑起于校对》这样一句话作题目,提出这样做的好处有三条,一是有利于学习编辑知识,二是有利于养成严细作风,三是有助于较快熟悉办报的全过程。我是很赞成这个意见的。但是据我所知,一些大学新闻系的学生,到报社后多数都愿意去当记者,主动提出愿意做编辑的可说是寥寥无几。这当然是新闻教育中一个值 Last year, on the seventh issue of the “news front,” he published an essay telling us that it is best to start with proofreading in journalism and think that we can persevere in this as a system.
