INTRODUCTION
China's accession to the World Trade Organization (WTO) no doubt has created both opportunities and challenges for domestic and foreign businesses.Also,no other field has received so much criticism as the problem of copyright piracy in China,especially in light of the Agreement on Trade-Related Aspects of Intellectual Property Rights (hereinafter,the "TRIPS Agreement").1 Unlike the enforcement problems existing in other areas of law in China,failure in the enforcement of laws regarding intellectual property (IP) protection has raised a global concern.
