In recent years, the author has presided over a set of editorial work of a multi-volume, medium-sized science and technology dictionary with high-school teachers and students as its main target audience. They also directly edited and processed some entries and reviewed them. This article only briefly summarizes some English translation problems found in the compilation process and discusses the compilation of the editorial. This dictionaries collection of entries, most of them are standardized terminology, substance names or common names (such as vitamin vitamin, freon freon), a few are not normative professional phrase.
