Rural toilets have restricted the formation of rural residents’ health behaviors for thousands of years. The implementation of rural restroom renovation not only is to eliminate hidden dangers of public health in rural areas, but also to be a good starting point for relocating people and improving their homeland. In 2014, Hebei provincial party committee and government took lavatory remodeling as one of the 15 Huimin affirmations and greatly inclined the policy, capital and organizational leadership to make substantive progress in this work.
