对动物使用致死量的脂多糖(LPS),能使血流动力学发生变化,如出现突发性全身低血压和肺高压。但LPS本身在体外对血管系统并没有直接作用,因此血流动力学的变化可能为血浆和脂多糖相互作用后释出血管活性物质的结果;内毒素休克时所观察到的各种症状,是由于LPS激活补体连锁反应所致。许多皮质类固醇和它的合成物具有拮抗内毒素作用,但对于这种拮抗机理还没有一种学说能加以阐明。
Using a lethal dose of lipopolysaccharide (LPS) on animals can cause haemodynamic changes such as sudden systemic hypotension and pulmonary hypertension. However, LPS itself does not have a direct effect on the vascular system in vitro, therefore, hemodynamic changes may be the result of the release of vasoactive substances after the interaction between plasma and lipopolysaccharide; the various symptoms observed during endotoxic shock are LPS activation due to complement chain reaction. Many corticosteroids and their compounds have the effect of antagonizing endotoxin, but no theory of this antagonistic mechanism can be elucidated.
