乌珠穆沁部落至今在内蒙古锡林郭勒盟东、西乌珠穆沁旗两个旗,还有一些在锡林浩特和兴安盟科右中旗。本论文以作者调查的西乌珠穆沁旗为例抒写。西乌珠穆沁旗位于锡林郭勒盟东部,大兴安岭北麓,以东乌珠穆沁旗、扎鲁特旗、阿鲁科尔沁旗、巴林左旗、巴林右旗、林西县、克什克腾旗、锡林浩特等期限为邻。主要以畜牧业生产为基础,近几年随着工矿开发第二产业在不断地发展。西乌珠穆沁旗(以下为西乌旗)至今还保存着游牧生活,其文化保存可谓完整。过本年是蒙古族传统文化的一部分。

West Wujumuqinqi (hereafter Xiyuqi) still preserves nomadic life and its cultural preservation is complete. This year is part of Mongolian traditional culture.
