我省是典型的少数民族散杂居省份,共有散居少数民族人口310多万,占全省少数民族总人口的47%,且少数民族人口居住相对较为集中,大多处于集中连片特困地区与高寒山区,经济社会发展相对滞后。近年来,在各级各部门的重视和支持下,我省散居少数民族工作取得了较好成效,散居少数民族地区经济社会实现较快发展,但我省散居少数民族地区发展整体滞后的现状仍然没有根本改变。5月29日上午,省十二届人大常委会第九次会议分组审议了省人民政府关于全省散居少数民族工作情况的报告,为散居少数民族地区的发展“听诊把脉”。
