阿索尔·富加德是南非共和国当代著名的白人剧作家和小说家。他不仅在南非家喻户晓,而且在欧美也名声大噪,曾多次获得欧美文学大奖,如今他的杰出剧本也已搬上中国的舞台。富加德的作品大都以南非人为关注点,他那尖锐冷峻的笔触细腻地刻画了生活在种族隔离时期、过渡时期和后种族隔离时期南非黑人和白人的心态,尤其侧重展现种族隔离制度对人性的严重扭曲。他用实际行动向世人证明了他作为“南非鲁迅”的称号名副其实。
Asol Fogad is a contemporary famous white dramatist and novelist in the Republic of South Africa. Not only has he become a household name in South Africa, he has also gained fame in Europe and the United States. He has won European and American literary awards on numerous occasions and is now on the Chinese stage with his outstanding script.
