In the “noise” of the struggle against corruption, there are quite a few obtrusive remarks. “Anti-corruption exposes the image of the party and the government.” Those who hold this view hold that grasping “tiger” and “flies” will make people question too much corruption in the party and the corruption-ridden insiders that fall into the ranks of the corrupt officials will affect the public’s confidence in the party. This argument may sound like distraction to the party. It looks like it is maintaining the image of the party. In fact, it is seeking the sake of the corrupt elements and is another expression of opposition and resistance to the continuous deepening of the central anti-corruption decision-making arrangements.
