锥柄刀具通常是用其锥体来传递扭矩和承受轴向力的,装卸时须对刀具施加一定冲击力,不但会影响机床主轴部件的精度,而且装卸费事,尤其在用反锪钻倒刮端面时还要在主轴下面一个横向扁尾孔里插入横销来固定刀具。国外最近研制出一种不用锥面固定刀具的装置(苏联作者发明证1024171),可在钻、镗床上使用,尤其适用于固定反锪钻一类锥柄刀具。该装置(见附图)是由本体1和连接螺母4组成。在本体内作有矩形窗孔,其内装有可在轴2上回转的挡铁3。连接螺母内铣有一条穿通槽,可供更换薄片5之用,薄片内作有缺口和环槽(见A-A剖面)。该装置是用以下方法工作的:把本体套装到机床
