语言离不开词汇,英语教学更要重视词汇教学,不掌握一定量的词汇,听、说、读、写等各方面技能就无法进行。英国著名的语言学家威尔金斯在《语言学与语言教学》中提出:“从某种意义上讲,在语言学习中词汇比语法更重要。没有语法尚可传递信息,但是,如果没有词汇,则任何信息都无法传递。”由此可见,词汇在语言学习中的重要地位。作为初中英语教师,怎样才能搞好英语词汇教学呢?笔者就自身的教学经历粗谈几点看法。
