“682—214”是我们1960年用“阿夫”与“NP798”杂交选育而成。经过几年的选育,1966年杂种性状基本稳定,表现穗大、粒多、丰产;1967～1968年选入田麦选种圃二行区,表现产量高,无病害;1968～1969年选入田麦选种圃五行区,再次表现产量高,无病害;1969～1970年参加田麦品种比较试验,因霜冻极其严重,整个试验无收成,没有结果;1971～1973年连续三年参加省田麦良种区域试验,同时进行多点试种,表现穗大、粒多、千粒重高、产量高。由于晚熟、易倒伏、条锈病较重,未能在田麦中推广。1974～1984年文山州用于早地,1980～1984年师宗县又用在旱地上获得较高产量。
