The physical examination standards of pilots are the laws and regulations of health appraisal and have extraordinary significance. However, in actual work, the author found that there are some problems that worth exploring for the current flight crew medical standards. 1 Too many individual assessment items Out of the 70 most recent pilot physical examination regulations enacted on 3 June 1996, 28 involved individual assessments of 40%.
