The Long March is the period when our military has the most difficult working conditions in surveying and mapping, the most lack of information, and yet the most active one in our work. I spent more than four years in mapping work on the long march. This period of history has later become a memorable memory of my life. I was a map chief of the Red Army headquarters. I was a student of the fifth political battalion in Jiangxi Red Army School. In 1933 July graduated from school, any youth team captain. In November, our team was incorporated into Peng Yang School and was changed to learning mapping (called surveying and mapping team). After 6 months of culture class, we transferred to mapping professional learning. There are 3 surveying and mapping teachers, most of the teaching time is practice drawing. Fieldwork is tough, especially if you’re not hungry. In order to complete the task entrusted by the party, I, together with the students, took the opportunity to wind and rain, top hot weather, climb the mountains, involved in rapids, hard work fieldwork. Broken straw sandals, barefoot walking, stomach hunger, tight Leggings. We never complain, but drawing more seriously.
