现存于北京市文物局图书资料中心的明代《中东宫冠服》(《明宫冠服图》),内容包括文字与插图。文字部分是对明代后妃诸王等冠服制度的详细介绍,首章为《中宫冠服》,次章为《东宫冠服》,以下依次为《亲王冠服》《世子冠服》《郡王冠服》《东宫妃冠服》《皇妃冠服》《亲王妃冠服(世子妃服同)》《公主冠服》《郡王妃冠服》《郡主冠服》等。插图部分是各章文字所述冠服的详解彩图,其中还包括皇帝的冠服图(文字不存)。因该书原名不详,故宫博物院
