The famous French writer John Fowl’s “French Lieutenant’s Woman” is one of the most important novels of the 20th century and his most representative postmodern work. The novel swept the world, with a large readership. Critics have interpreted it from different perspectives, but more often consider the charm of the novel to come from the linguistic view and writing skills of the postmodernist literature of the novel.
