As a mid-level government in a local government, the development of the medium-sized city government and its impact on the macro-investment efficiency have drawn increasing attention. Especially in recent years, under the environment of reform and opening up, many negative effects that medium-sized city governments have shown in investment activities have become the focus of discussion. This article tries to make a superficial analysis of the factors that affect the existence and development of the investment behavior of the medium-sized cities in order to deepen the understanding of this economic phenomenon and provide a reference for finding ways to correct their bad behaviors. I.
