从古至今,言论自由都是一个社会极为重要的品格,它对于个人发展、国家稳定、社会和谐都有着至关重要的作用。自由的言论和思想是社会民主和文化程度的反应,也是推动社会进步的有力武器。本文通过探讨言论自由在古代希腊、近代美国的历史发展和制度变迁,试图从法制史层面来揭示言论自由的价值体系,从而得出该命题在当下社会的现实意义及发展方向。
Since ancient times, freedom of speech is an extremely important character of society. It plays a crucial role in personal development, national stability and social harmony. Free speech and thought are the reaction of social democracy and education, and they are powerful weapons for promoting social progress. By exploring the historical development and institutional changes of freedom of speech in ancient Greece and modern America, this article attempts to reveal the value system of freedom of speech from the level of legal history, and then draws the realistic meaning and development direction of the proposition in the present society.
