According to the analysis of the characteristics of construction and renovation, Mianning, from Panzhihua in the ferry to Xichang, is an ancient Hercynian-Indosinian rift called the Panxi Rift Valley. It not only controls the formation, enrichment and distribution of Panzhihua vanadium-titanium magnetite deposits in this area, but also affects the modern crustal stability.
