胡济生,英文名Tsi Sheng Hu,1918年12月27日生于天津,祖籍四川成都,2012年10月22日卒于北京。胡济生在天津完成小学阶段的学习,在北京汇文中学和天津南开中学完成中学学业。1935年中学毕业后,他考入南京金陵大学农学院攻读农艺化学,1940年毕业。大学毕业后他短期留校任助教,同年11月到设于柳州的广西农事试验场任职,1943年11月到设于重庆的中央农业实验所土壤肥料系任技佐,1945年通过考试获公费到美国康乃尔大学研
Hu Jisheng, English name Tsi Sheng Hu, was born in Tianjin on December 27, 1918, his ancestral home was in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, and died in Beijing on October 22, 2012. Hu Jisheng completed the elementary school in Tianjin and finished his high school in Beijing Huiyin Middle School and Tianjin Nankai Middle School. After graduating from high school in 1935, he was admitted to Nanjing Agricultural College, Jinling University, Agronomy Chemistry, graduated in 1940. After graduating from college, he served as a teaching assistant for a short time. In November of the same year, he worked in Guangxi Agricultural Experiment Station in Liuzhou. In November 1943, he worked as a soil and fertilizer manager at the Central Agricultural Experiment Station in Chongqing.
