文章分析了民族地区发展知识经济的重大意义和有利条件，提出了在知识、信息、技术的生产与应用愈益网络化的条件下，民族地区有可能分享世界科技经济国际化的成果，先从局部突破，实现跨越性发展，缩小与发达地区差距的观点。认为民族地区发展知识经济应从牢固树立知识价值观入手，加强知识经济基础设施建设，以高新技术改造传统产业，加速民族地区的科技进步与创新，改革教育体制，提高少数民族整体素质，发挥民族政策优势，制定相关的自治条例，确立科技发展的政策体系。
This paper analyzes the great significance and favorable conditions for the development of knowledge economy in ethnic minority areas and puts forward that the achievement of internationalization of science and technology economy in ethnic minority areas is likely to be shared under the conditions that the production and application of knowledge, information and technology are getting more and more networked.
