孝感烟草根植在荆楚大地上,孝感是楚文化的重要发祥地之一。孝感烟草组建以来,企业综合实力不断壮大。截至2010年底,全市烟草系统总资产达到8.03亿元,商品销售总额25.24亿元,实现利税5.02亿元,分别是1984年的22.65万元、2195万元、63万元的3545倍、115倍、796倍,为维护国家和消费者利益,为推进地域经济和社会又好又快发展做出了积极贡献。
